Day 1:- Arrive Auckland
On arrival in Auckland, the ‘city of Sails’, you will be met by Kiwiway representative and assisted at the airport either meeting your driver for your private tour option or collecting your rental car for the self drive option. Transfer to your accommodation.

Day 2:- Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua
Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the recently opened Ruakuri Caves with an opportunity to view limestone formations and the famous local glowworms. Continue to the 'thermal city' of Rotorua.

Day 3:- Rotorua
Today enjoy a sightseeing tour of Rotorua including Te Puia Thermal Reserve, Agrodome Sheep Show and Rainbow Springs Nature Park.

Day 4:- Rotorua - Queenstown
Transfer to Rotorua Airport today and take a flight to Queenstown (flight not included). On arrival in Queenstown, either collects a new rental car (Self Drive) or you will be met by your South Island driver (Private Tour).

Day 5:- Queenstown
Two free days to relax or explore the 'alpine resort' of Queenstown. Optional activities include jetboating, golf, wine tasting, a day tour to Milford Sound, local sightseeing. Optional activities not included in the tour price.

Day 6:- Queenstown
Today is at leisure in Queenstown.

Day 7:- Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch
Travel through the Central Otago region to Mt Cook, known as 'Aoraki, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.

Day 8:- Depart Christchurch
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car to the airport. We trust you enjoyed your Kiwiway vacation!
