Day 2:- Cochin – Munnar After breakfast transfers to “Munnar”. It is 135 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive. Check into the hotel. Munnar is a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats at about 5000 feet above sea level. This is one of the best hill stations in Kerala and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. Munnar means three rivers and the town is located at the confluence of 3 mountain streams - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. These 3 stream confluence at the heart of the town and meet all the water requirements of the settlers and visitors. Munnar has lakes, forests and several tea estates. Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m/8883 ft.) is nearby. Munnar was the British Government's Summer Resort in the South and it has been the favorite summer resort of the European sellers for centuries. By noon reach at Munnar, Check in to the hotel and evening free for leisure.
Day 3:- Munnar Local After breakfast proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Munnar - Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. Local sightseeing of Munnar - Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, The High Range Club, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, etc Evening free for leisure and shopping in Market. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4:- Munnar – Alleppey (HOUSEBOAT) After breakfast transfer to Alleppey Houseboat (195 Kms /6 HRs). Please make sure that check in to houseboat near to 12:30 Noon as per their ideal check in time to enjoy the proper backwater cruising. Enjoy nature with the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of east by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Day 5:- Alleppey - Kovalam After taking breakfast before 9:00 A.M. proceed for Kovalam (175 kms / 5 Hrs). Whenever you reach at Kovalam check into the hotel & get fresh, Evening free for sightseeing of Trivandrum, then after come to the hotel & enjoy your delicious dinner at hotel & overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.
Day 6:- Kovalam – Kanyakumari - Kovalam After breakfast do some local sightseeing in Detour past Kovalam junction to land on Samudra Beach which is to the north of Ashoka Beach. One has the option to walk along the sea-wall too / or Go for sunset sightseeing in Kanyakumari, come back to hotel up to dinner time and night at hotel in Kovalam.
