Day 2:- Cochin – Munnar After breakfast check out from Cochin hotel and transfers to “Munnar”. It is 140 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive. Check into the hotel. Munnar is a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats at about 5000 feet above sea level. This is one of the best hill stations in Kerala and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. Munnar means three rivers and the town is located at the confluence of 3 mountain streams - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. These 3 stream confluence at the heart of the town and meet all the water requirements of the settlers and visitors. Munnar has lakes, forests and several tea estates. Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m/8883 ft.) is nearby. Munnar was the British Government's Summer Resort in the South and it has been the favorite summer resort of the European sellers for centuries. By noon reach at Munnar, Check in to the hotel and evening free for leisure.
Day 3:- Munnar Local After breakfast proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Munnar - Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. Local sightseeing of Munnar - Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, The High Range Club, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor, Pallivasal/Pothamedu, etc Evening free for leisure and shopping in Market. Day 4:- Munnar Local After breakfast full day relax at hotel and night stay at hotel in Munnar.
Day 5:- Munnar – Alleppey After breakfasts take transfer to Alleppey (185 Kms / 6 hrs). Enjoy nature with the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of east by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alleppey is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Day 6:- Alleppey After breakfast full day free for local sightseeing in Alleppey and for Enjoy backwater experience also, You can have choice to enjoy boating at Vembanad lake (with additional cost on direct payment basis) – You can visit famous Alleppey beach at evening and night stay at Resort in Alleppey.
